We Need More Enforcement

The laws are written so that the US Coast Guard have to catch and release the driftnet boats. They are not allowed to seize the vessel, they send them back to the nation of origin, along with the crew. Thus, the illegal fishing boats along with their crews will be allowed to continue to use driftnets at no punishment. It is a massive loophole that needs to be addressed ASAP.
